Registration
If you self-registered for BreastCheck between February 2025 and August 2025, your details are now on our register.
How can I see my details?
- Enter your PPS Number and date of birth below. If you are on the register, you will see a message confirming this.
- If you are not on the register, you will see a message asking you to enter your details.
Sometimes, you may be on our register but when you enter your PPS number and date of birth, our database does not find a match. If this happens, just enter your details and we will update your information.
What age do I need to be to register?
- You can register for BreastCheck between the ages of 48 and 49.
- This does not change when you will get your first breast screening appointment.
- Your first screening appointment will be after you turn 50. This is usually within 2 years of your 50th birthday but in some areas it may be closer to age 53 when you get your first appointment. It will depend on when we are screening in your area.
Do I need to register?
- Most women are added to the BreastCheck register automatically through the Department of Social Protection.
- You can check if you’re on the register and if you’re not, you can give us your details.
Do I need to update my details?
Yes – if you have changed your address or phone number.
